Shoes glorious shoes, pumps, stilletos and high heels...ok enough of that but on a serious note if you missed the Selfridges Shoe Carnival you missed edible cocktails in the form of mini shoe-vodka-jellies (three of my all time fave things in the world...all in one; who'd of thought it possible!!?), candly floss and retro sweet, old school bicycle stands, acrobats spinning to the DJ's tunes and I havent even got to the shoe part yet...well actually with all that crazy stuff it's the first time I
can actually say the shoes were the least good bit!
My summer begins next month and is looking soooo hot right now...but I can't find any appropriately high shoes to pack...dilemma. Selfridges you won on all fronts except the one you were promoting!
And speaking of failures I went to the Light Exhibition at the Hayward Gallery last week after trembling with excitement for two weeks prior for lack of obtaining tickets and was so disappointed! I queried whether I was just becoming old, jaded, and unappreciative but actually conclude that we are so spoilt for choice of brilliance in most domains of London's creative world that those that try to entertain, whatever the subject matter, have no room for complaisance.
